Very nice staff and breakfast (full hot english), and a great bar with good service. The staff is very helpfully with booking taxi and it cost betwhen 9 - 12£ one way.

Aside from disturbances by our neighbouring guests our stay was a pleasant one, our room was more than adequate for our needs. My stepson very much enjoyed the having the bunk beds all to himself.

I am from Liverpool, now living in Greece. I spent one week in the Park Hotel. I felt very proud of the staff, and the hotel. Keep up the good work. I stayed:-17th oct until 24th oct 2007. Regards Brenda L.

I found the Park Hotel to be very average. Situated some long way out from the main part of Liverpool, the whole place needed a face lift and a good clean. Room was ok but beds were uncomfortable. The Interior of the Lift needed a good clean and redecorating. The Bar was under- stocked and furnishings were tatty. But on the other hand, the food in the Restaurant was very nice and good value, especially the Breakfast Buffet. For what we paid it was OK, but I would not return there again by choice.

The hotel was nice and staff where helpful. It was quite some way from the airport and good drive from town centre but when travelling as a group of 4 people taxis prices worked out reasonable. Would be quite expensive if fewer people to divide rates.

This hotel is still undergoing refurbishment - we had a refurbished room but some common areas looked like they were still to be refurbished. We enjoyed our stay - it was a 15 minute walk from the friends we were visiting and would definitely stay again. Would recommend for anyone looking for a clean and friendly hotel.

The staff were very pleasant and made you feel welcomed. The food was plentiful, well presented, enjoyable served by staff who were attentive without being overbearing. Just one small suggestion to help people who have limited dexterity, can you please have some easier to squeeze bathroom shower lotion containers available.

The Hotel is quite clean but basic, the staff are lovely, except for the night duty manager. Nowhere do they state that the residents bar closes at 0100 hrs, so when 12 of our party returned at 01.15 hrs from my son's wedding day, just to relax and discuss the day over a quiet drink, we were advised the bar was closed!!!!! The duty manager was adamant he would not open the bar again although there were other residents staying there who had actually attended a wedding reception at this hotel, and also wanted to unwind with a drink after a hectic day. It ruined the end of a fabulous day. This is apparantly not the first time there have been complaints over this matter , and hotel staff state that it will not be the last!!! We have made further complaints and hope this issue will be dealt with. If you want a relaxing drink after 0100 hrs do not stay here.

The location wasn't pretty but was perfect for visiting family near by.Only stayed one night so wider facilities weren't tested. Room was new, bright and clean but not finished, needing table and chairs. Lighting placement not the best designed. No light over main mirror and very dark in bathroom shower when curtain drawn. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast arrangements very good as we could choose as much or as little as we wanted. Excellent quality of food. A very satisfactory stay.

A couple of things went wrong, the heating was broken in the new wing and our shower didn't work, but everything was taken care of very quickly and we had a great time. I'd go back again for the Grand National, this hotel is perfect.
