Park Hotel Clarke Quay Singapore Guest Reviews (43)
Their staff have very poor work knowledge, communication skills and common sense. They did not offer help and had put me waiting for almost 4 hours to check in, yes, I came early, but they did not offer any options, such as a half date rate. And their manager at last told me that I can upgrade to their Club Floor then they can check me in earlier. I did complaint to her why no body has told me about this. I was told breakfast is included but then said it was a mistake after I had finished my breakfast. I had to pay an extra S$30.

Starting off on a long trip to Australia and NZ, we treated ourselves to a Crystal Club room at the Park Hotel for 4 nights en route. A good choice as really enjoyed personal service, an exclusive lounge for breakfast and evening drinks -included in the rate- and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The room was a bit small for two, but well appointed with good view. Looks like was really designed for a solo business traveller. Location OK for Robertson Quay and Chinatown, but bit of a walk to MRT at Clarke Quay. Good sized pool and well provided for towels, but rather short of sun loungers and umbrellas. All the poolside seating quickly filled. But all in all an excellent stay and worth the upgrade.

Great hotel, friendly staff, although didn't have enough rooms ready for all the guest checking in around 5.30pm. Wasn't so happy about travelling all day only to be told to go away and come back in half an hour when room ready. There were a few disgruntled guests ahead of us, so I didn't make a fuss. Once we had a room allocated however, we couldn't fault our stay at all. Great staff, great room, great pool.

Everything was good, except that we didn't have the two bottles of complimentary water that i believe most hotels will provide. Hence, i ended up having to boil water for drinking, else to run to the 7-11 store to get drinking water. I take this the missing water as an oversight, although it shouldn't have been.

Location is great! The hotel is 5 min walk to the restaurants & clubs in Clarke Quay. They also provide free shuttle to other tourist area like Orchard Road so location wise- i's a winner. However, hotel rooms is very small. you hardly have enough space to move around. Also, they do not allow children in the club lounge (But this was never stated when we booked & paid for the hotel). So we paid for 4 nights * 2 rooms with club lounge excess but was unable to use it as we had a 10 year old traveling with us. when we asked if we could change the rooms to the normal room, they said they cannot do that as the booking has already been confirmed. Generally, this is a good hotel for short stays. But it's not recommended for long stays.
