This room had an unhindered view of Times Square, a beautiful view, and was the saving grace of our stay here. Park Central Hotel is just a hotel - nothing special but nothing outstanding, and a bit of a mixed bag. It is currently under renovation so hopefully that will spruce things up a bit. Upon arrival things seemed a bit out of control. A sign on the front sliding door stated not to use them, so we struggled through the revolving door with our cases only to turn around and see a staff member walk straight through the sliding door?! On the other hand they are implementing a new elevator control system to avoid getting a "stopping all floors" situation, and it works really well. Another strange thing - check out was not until midday, so we went out and came back at 11:40 AM only to find our room cards had been deactivated, and getting them reactivated took about 20 minutes and very frustrating. Anyway, it is in a great location and if things are better once renovations are complete, it could be a really good place.

I was there 2 years ago and was a good experience. This time it was very bad! Room not clean, bathrooom to forget, only some of the staffs kind enought. I will not recomend this hotel any more.

excellent location, good hotel and fair price.... Satff is very kind, if you need anything, go to front desk and ask them, specially ask for Elizabeth Cacovic, she´s the best!!

If the tourist area of times square is your thing, then this hotel is a great choice, a big hotel full of tourists and close to time square. This was the first time I stayed so close to this area, (normally stay around Chelsea). The big hotel lacked that personal service, was quite noisy at night and a surprise... no A/C! This was a last minute booking as I extended my stay in NYC and the hotel I was at was fully booked. My preference is to stay around Chelsea 23rd to 28th streets around 7th ave. Close to subway that gets you uptown or downtown in no time.
