Service gaff- the reception forgot our pre-ordered & discussed 5.45.am wake up call & didn''t even try to wake us for our per-ordered hotel taxi - meant we missed our 7.30 flight & subsequent connections. Made no real apology & v little effort to help us. Fortunately we were able to negotiate later flights with LAN CHILE. V bad PR on part of hotel which could have really spoilt our treks in Chile. Hotel location good- near to airport- Calama town best avoided.

This hotel is well situated on the edge of Calama, close to the airport. There is a comfortable lounge/bar area and pleasant pool in a central courtyard. Business facilities were available. The staff on reception were well dressed, efficient and professional, but in our experience not especially warm and welcoming. In every other hotel we visited in Chile there was assistance with the luggage, but we were simply directed to our room at the furthest end of the hotel, with no bell staff in evidence. The rooms are adequate, of average size, with a view to the courtyard.
