GREAT FOR KIDS. VERY NOISY, FOUND ONE WHOLE WEEK MAY BE TOO LONG. HELPFUL STAFF, KIDS CLUB EXCELLENT, GAVE PARENTS A BREAK FOR UP TO 4 HOURS A DAY! GOOD LOCATION, 10 MINUTE WALK TO HEART OF SURFER'S PARADISE.

This resort is so child friendly, it caters for children of all ages. The resort activities are fantastic with plenty for them to do.Adults can sit by the pool and enjoy a cocktail or icy cold drink. On the down side the rooms are very dated and needed to be refurbished and i some of the food was average but overall it was a great stay

Staff were amazing and were the best thing about the Paradise Resort. All very friendly and with great sense of humours. The resort was located half an hours drive from main fun parks and within walking distance to beach. The place was packed with young families and was a bit on the noisy side. Lots of activities for the children. Kids had a ball! Rooms were comfortable but in need of a makeover.

What a fantastic resort! I'm almost reluctant to type a fantastic review because I don't want the multitudes booking in and I'll miss out when I want to go back! It doesn't get better than this - it's like staying at White Water World! The best family resort I've ever stayed at. There is an awesome water park, the kids play area which you book your child into daily if you like and keeps them entertained for hours and there is even a daily schedule of activities (almost hourly) for kids of all ages. There is a restaurant in the hotel which has different themed dinners every night, and even a little mini mart as well! I cannot recommend it more highly! If you have young children you will not be dissappointed!

Great palce for the kids: pool, water park (two), play ground and extra activities were fantastic, although I thought the kids club was a bit pricy. BBQ night, spud night etc, are good value; restaurant food was pretty avarage though, as everything comes out of a pack. Movie night is an excellent idea. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, also very patience with the children! Unfortunatley our room was not very clean, and the door to connect with the room next to us, which we didn't book, was unlocked! I would recommend for a short stay, specially with young children.

Great fun for the kids. Great water play area (but not heated). Heated spa and less heated pool. Free session per child per night included with the room we chose. Room very average. TV was small and old CRT style. Bath tub was small/average. Extra appliances cost a lot extra per night if needed (microwave $30 per night for example). Underground parking hard to park in (tight spaces) and costs an extra $10 per night. Staff very friendly and attentive (although one waitress in the Bistro returned with a bowl for a mocha when we asked for a cup or mug?). Worth it just for the childcare. Gym pretty basic but great air con and 2 big TV's to watch while working out. Pricing very average at the restaurant. Overall worthwhile for the kiddy activities and supervised sessions but not so much for room comfort.

This hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. I think it still has beds from when it was a singles resort. The onsite shop sold most items at 4 times the price - save your money and walk 3 blocks to Coles or even use the corner shop across the road opposite the Putt Putt (they only charge twice as much). The water park is great but the pool needed a bigger filter (lots of other peoples hair floating around) and the spa was never without 20 children. The bistro and cafe prices were way too high for what amounted to bistro food - not restaurant food. And then on the public holiday everything went up $1-$2. This surcharge really should be waived if you are staying at the resort. They are also trying to save money by doing a "sleep in on sunday" promo where the rooms are not made up on a Sunday. Lots of penalty rates saved there I bet. All in all if you want a cheap looking hotel room with old bedding to match that the kids will love and you dont mind being ripped off all over the place - $4.60 for a litre bottle of coke, surcharge on all credit card use - then stay here. The kids will love it.

Bus stop was right outside the hotel, facilities were great for kids over 5 but lacked a little for kids under 3. Room was fine but curtain didn't cover up all window and room needed some work. Will go back when kids are over 5 and hope they have upgraded the rooms by then

The food is expensive and disgusting, made myself and my husband physically ill. Rooms are dirty and motel like. Even the tv was one of those old box tvs that dont get propper reception. Service was useless. Lollipops and bandaids found in the pools. We booked a stay for a week, and when packing to leave on our second last day(we couldn't wait to get out of there), we noticed that my watch had gone missing. I spoke to the manager on duty, and was basically told that they werent going to do anything about it. Avoid this hotel like the plague!!!

This is a great family orientated hotel that provides great friendly service. I would highly recommend them for this alone. Their rooms are average but for an affordable fun filled family holiday this can be overlooked. The activities they provide for the children each day are fantastic and the food at the resturant is wonderful and also reasonable. The other services that are available for hire or to purchase make this hotel a must try for your next vacation. They are in the middle of an upgrade of their facitities so I can only imagine how good they will be when they have completed them.

Very good place for the kids with the pools and kids zone. Could imagine it being quite crowded in really busy times but we had no problems at Easter. Hotel rooms fine, fairly basic with minimal TV channels and only a small fridge but suits short stays. Would go again due to the kids club allowing parents some time to themselves!

My husband and 2 kids absolutely loved the stay, the kids had a awesome time in the pools, and the kids club. It was great for my husband and I being able to spend some time together and not worry about the kids, they were well loked after whilst in the kids club activities. The rooms were great, we had a junior bunkhouse room and it was great, the facilities were very family orientated and great, awesome place to stay we will certainly being going back again.

I was on the Gold Coast on business and I booked the Paradise Resort because I was looking for a resort I could happily bring the family back to for a holiday. I found the resort facilities fantastic and would not hesitate to book a family holiday at this venue. The only criticism I have is that the room I stayed in could certainly benefit from a bathroom makeover and perhaps some further modern ammenities

A great place for families with kids - awesome pools, playgrounds and activities. The kids club seemed popular, although we didn't use it as were too busy with other activities. Unfortunately the room we stayed in badly needed refurbishing, was old, dated and rather grubby in areas like the bathroom. The rooms were noisy and we could hear what everybody was doing in the room next to ours or people walking and talking along the corridor. The food in the cafe was OK, apart from the breakfast we had one morning which was cold and not very nice. We didn't try Sinbads (the buffet restaurant) as it seemed overpriced for what it was. Other than that, the service was very good with lovely friendly employees.Q

the room we stayed in had pubic hair around the toilet and lots of sticky finger marks around the room, should update the facilities ie big tv and have dvd facilities so children can be entertained in the room. i loved the atmosphere in the saturday night dances and around the pool, kids club was dissapointed as rang up to come and pick my son up only after an hour of him being in the play area i asked for him to be put into the small kids area, but they said he would be fine with the big kids which he wasnt, i didnt like the attitude of the carer so unfortuneatly i wont recommenmd paradise resort thanks
