Paradise Hotel Taipei
4.6 out of 5

Strategically located in the famous shopping district of Ximending. Just 2 streets away from the buzz. The lobby looks rather grand. The rooms were generally clean and comfortable. Service were efficient and excellent. The only bad point is that wifi is only available in the lobby and it broke down 2 out of the 3 days I spent there.

Well the hotel looked quite nice from the outside and the location was awesome. It was lesser then a stone's throw from Ximending. The rooms were not what i expected. We had paid extra for a renovated room but the room we got did not seem renovated at all. Not a place to bring your family to stay.

The hotel is a little old but it is clean and the staff are friendly. The room is small compared to the other hotels we stayed in Taiwan. Bed is hard but once we are tired of walking around Taipei, these does not matter. Located in Ximending, it is very convenient to find food and lots of shopping. Overall, Paradise Hotel is still worth a stay.

Everything there are good, except that the bathroom can be quite small and the air-con is really very cold.

Me and my family are quite satisfied with paradise hotel. the receptionists and service are good, our hotel room is quite comfortable and spacious and the toilet is much better than what we have expected initially. Location wise is definitely a plus point as its very near to ximending mrt station and there are quite a few nice small eatery shops around too.

Valuable with good Location. Room look bit old with less lighting and very bad soundproof. Noisy when other guests walk along the corridoor.

We stayed a total of 6 nights but housekeeping was not done properly every day. Dirt on the floor was not vacuum and our tissue papers was not replenish when ran out. Bathroom was not cleaned properly too. The rooms varies in sizes although same rates applied.

I felt that the room is very small and the ceiling is too low. Especially the BATH ROOM, is not that freindly user. I would not recommend you all to stay in this hotel.

The only thing I like about this hotel is the reception people. They are very friendly to answer any questions. Other than that, I don't like this hotel at all. Not convenience to MTR station, it's about 20 minutes walk. The hotel is very old, smell, and rustic. I will not stay there again.

Very handy location. Close to the train station. The room itself is not so special (our room didn't have windows) but if you think about the location, we didn't care.

Hotel very near to ximen MRT station, less than 5 mins walk. Those who loves shopping, this hotel might be a good choice. The staffs are friendly, but the room is too small. and the pricing is slightly too high. No interenet service..a big problem for us! anyway, this hotel is onli good in location.

Old hotel going in the midst of renovations. Room was small. Definitely not a 3 star if any, probably a 2. No bell boys or porter to help with lugguage with a absolutely rude reception/cashier. Luckily it was only for a night.

The place was very clean. With a water dispenser conveniently located outside the rooms. You might have to walk a little to reach Ximen Station. However, all is well. I'm very please...

Location is good as is just located in ximending area. Stayed 2 times in this hotel before and both are pleasant stays. Service is average but don't expect too much for a 3 star hotel room. Overall, it's a good recommendation for budget travellers to taipei.

The rooms are very very small and not so clean. The area around the hotel is not so good according to my Taiwanese friends, even if we didn´t notice any so called "gangsters". I recommend it to budget travellers since it is cheap but try not to spend too much time in the area because there are nice places in Taipei.
