The room advertised on this site was "Ocean View" yet when we checked in there was no view of the ocean unless you consider risking your body hanging over the balcony to get a glimpse. It is a twin tower complex. The first tower faces the ocean the second tower faces the first. Guess what the room was in the second tower. Not only that it was 1 floor above the tennis court so how they could even suggest having "ocean view" is a joke. All you got was a view of the tennis court. WOW. The manager advised me that this room is marketed as "Ocean View". Well that was very misleading especially when I contacted Hotel.com before I booked to ask the vendor if the room did have an ocean view to which the vendor replied YES otherwise I wouldnt have bothered paying extra for something you don't get. The annoying experience was that I had to debate the matter with the manager as I didnt come all this way for a break only to be told "Sorry that's all we have left". I booked this well in advanced so really there was no excuse for poor service. I ended up having to ring Hotel.com to have the matter resolved and coerce the manager to do better. After wasting almost an hour the best he could offer was a room on the first tower from the side which at least had some ocean view but the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The dust in the kitchen cupboards was appalling so we ended up wasting more of our time washing up most of the utensils, plates, cups etc. and wiping out all the dust. Even the bathroom wasn't that clean. I found a dead silverfish in the drawer. As you have gathered from other reviewers the rooms are dated and sadly needs repairs. The airconditioner is something out of the last century's industrial revolution. Very noisy contraption. The only positive about this place is the outside. The recreation area has been renovated. They really need to ask owners to update their units to a standard if they wish to holiday let. Otherwise dont ask the rate you're offering when others have done better. The hotel was rated 4 star which is exaggerated. Hotel.com were apologetic about our situation.

Apartment badly needs updating lounge suite old and tattered one single bed was ready for tip, requested one more outdoor chair but never got it. The veiw was good, pool bbq and spa area very nice. Location was very good although a little noisy.

Insist on staying in building "A" not Ballah, its closer to the beach.

Great location and convenient to beach, pool, shops, bowling, food. Weekly cleanup was average and was not cleaned fully when we first arrived. One down side noisy birdsoutside at 5.30am every morning. Aprtment was spacious and comfortable. Good spot.
