One night stay.Check in was very easy. The reception was looking out for us. A fairly basic and fairly small hotel but the facilities were good for this type of hotel. Small but good swimming pool. Very pleasant outside terraces and plenty of loungers, tables and chairs. Also plenty of seating in indoor bar and lounge. Magnificent views from all rooms and the terraces. Very quiet location. Staff helpful and friendly. Entertainment every night. The night we were there an old pro singer who went straight from one song into another. Bedroom was basic but adequate. As might be expected food was limited in choice but perfectly edible. Exceptional value for money.

Amazing view over Mellieha Bay and only a short walk from shops and restaurants. Really friendly staff. Takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach, and half an hour back to the hotel, as that is uphill. We really liked this place and can recommend it. Did I mention that the view is amazing? Well, it is. Some rooms may be disturbed by the evening entertainment (typically someone singing and playing guitar), so if you are easily disturbed in your sleep you might want to think twice about it. Didn't bother us.

I stayed here in early May 2008. It was a good base for travelling around Malta, the bus stops being about 5 to 10 minute walk away. The view across the bay was fantastic. There's a small bar which had entertainment each evening. The double room was small but adequate for 1 person. It wasn't as clean as it could have been though. Food was served in a large dining room and was of a good quality. A good base for travelling around but not for a hotel based holiday. There's a terrace with a small pool - no one was in it though, it was too cold! It's a 30 min walk to the bay down a steep hill. You will only walk up it once! Use the bus - it's cheap. I paid 33 euros for a taxi to and from the airport.
