I stayed in the Business villas which were great. Much better than I was expecting from the photos online. The staff very very helpful and the bungalow/room was cleaned to a very high standard each day. I don't know that I would want to stay in the hotel rooms as it is more like a row of motel rooms, but they seemed well kept and are obviously less expensive. The pool was great too. The location is perfect. Very close to all the action on Mitchell street and also within easy walking distance of the waterfront and convention centre. I would certainly recommend the business villas for anyone who doesn't want to stay in a standard hotel type room. The terrace with BBQ and lovely gardens were so much better than your normal hotel room, especially when in a nice climate like Darwin (in the dry season anyway). The bathroom was very small but very clean and perfectly adequate. The villa also had a kitchenette which was handy for preparing basic meals or a BBQ. I left some clothes in my wardrobe and the staff phoned to inform me and offered to post them back to me which I thought was very nice. The noise from some of the pubs nearby can be a bit loud, even late at night but if that doesn't really bother you as it didn't me its not really a problem.

I was there for 2 nights on business, just the right room for me, i had the private bungalow with a verandah, ref and some facilities to knock up a quick snack. Great hot water and pressure and clean toilets, always the 1st thing I look for in a hotel room. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Great walking areas just across the road on the waterfront and very close to the main shopping hub, stores, restaurants and pubs. Quiet and set amoungst the gardens.... Wioll definetly stay there again...

I thoroughy enjoyed my stay. My only complaint was that on having breakfast on Tuesday morning I found the hot dishes were all just warm and was a little disappointed that there wasn't more variety in the hot dishes - e.g. mushrooms, tomatoes and another variety of cooked eggs, not just scrambled.

Very good location. The cheap rooms are average, but solid. Be careful when booking because you can think you are getting a good room by looking at the photos on their website when you are actually getting an average room. How you get a good room in the little cabins is the trick.
