We stayed 2 nights, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Travelers should be aware that the "hotel" is at more than one location, all close by. We were a little unsure of how to find the address we were given, and once we arrived, we had to backtrack to the actual location where our rooms were. A little inconvenient, but worth the trouble.

Definitely not 4 star. More like 2 star. staff very good and friendly. Location very central. Enjoyed my stay, just not as plush as I'd expected.

Would be a bit tricky to find if you didn't know that you are looking for a set of buzzers on a wall - the hotel is on the 1st floor. Excellently located a bit away from the main tourist drag so lots of great local bars and restaurants are very close by but still only 5 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge. Rooms are a good size (especially for Venice where they tend to be quite small). Staff friendly and helpful. Ignore previous comments on other sites about smoke being a problem - all communal areas of the hotel are non-smoking in line with Italian law and you can request a non-smoking room. Breakfast is somewhat pre-packaged but perfectly adequate. I'd definately stay there again.
