Palazzo Motor Lodge Nelson Guest Reviews
Great location, but get a rear unit as it is on the main road out of town. A somewhat "headmistressy" reception with a list of "don'ts" Rooms need comfortable armchairs or sofas, but probably too small to accommodate. Very clean and tidy and good parking. Overall, a good place to stay. Expensive, but this was high season.

Just ask for an upstairs unit as the plumbing runs thru the walls and if upstairs is having a shower you listen to running water which is almost like having them in the room with you. Otherwise - lovely, very clean, well maintained and great location.

I did enjoy my stay at the Palazzo, but for the same money you can get king sized beds and larger lcd tvs. The tv in our particular room was quite small and had an annoying whistle to it as well as static interference every now and then which was disappointing. However, the bath was large and the other facilities were fine.
