Very friendly and helpful staff - excellent coffee in the mornings! Parking could be tricky but the reception staff were always happy to take the car and park it for me which was enormously helpful and much appreciated.

Great location in the center, though a bit of noise in this area from construction and the churches. Not any fault of the hotel. Helpful staff. Ask for a room with a kitchenette as there aren't too many places to eat in Ascoli.

This hotel is in a beautiful old palace in a pleasant square in the centre of Ascoli P. Not easy to find, and parking is a bit of lottery but it is within easy walking distance of everything worth seeing in AP. We were warmly welcomed, the friendly factotum helped us park the car and carried our luggage up two flights of stairs into our "superior" room in the tower. The room was fine; large, clean, airy with a huge king size bed, other furniture, TV, minibar etc. The bathroom was super, and a loose WC seat was rapidly fixed. Breakfast was OK if not exciting. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed - we suspect on health and safety grounds as the staff were a bit coy about it. There is not much public space or facilities.These are reasons why we have given "average" for facilities. Reception staff were helpful, giving advice on restaurants etc and booking one for us. We would highly recommend this hotel.
