The hotel is in a fantastic location. You can practically touch the Duomo from the Balcony. Everything within walking distance - very convenient. Has everything you need to self cater if you want. Only downside was that the bathrooms are a bit dated - few loose tiles etc and it can be a bit noisy at night. The children slept through it but the adults needed earplugs! Those Italians love their sirens.....

This was my second stay at the Palazzo Gamba and I was extremely pleased the accomodations both times. We booked a two bedroom and the view toward the Duomo is breathtaking. Since it literally overlooks one of the busiest squares in Florence it isn't very quiet, but I found the street noise, and bells from the church charming. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The only negatives were that two of the 4 burners on the stove didn't work, and there was no cleaning products provided for the kitchen, but when I asked housekeeping they were sent up immediately. I would definitely stay at the Palazzo again

Great apartment, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and price was half the tariff displayed.
