This is a small family owned hotel located in a great neighborhood for walking and eating and a short stroll to Old Jerusalem. The rooms are small but comfy with TV and free Wi-Fi. The staff was helpful in directing me to tours and restaurants. Try the Bistro up the street! Be aware that as with many older hotels, there is no elevator.

We had a n unpleasent stay at the Hotel. First, it is unaccessable with a car, since it is lococated on a pedestrian street closed to motor traffic - but we did not see pedestrians as it was almost neglected area. The reception is located on the second floor and the rooms on the third floor without elevator. We were "luck" to receive a room with a window - other are without. The room was so small, that we hardly could find our way arround the bad, The small TV was out of order, The telephone was so dirty, we had to call reception and ask to clean it. And the price is almost as at a great other Hotel we found after our check-out. This Hotel obviously is not recommended.

Handy to tram along Jaffa Road when running. About 20 mins walk to Old City which I did as I was there during Jewish holidays so no trams running for first 2 days. Most restaurants / food places shut also. Fortunately hotel concierge was very helpful and found a place open so I could have some food the evening I arrived. Staff generally good and helpful. Room needs renovating as somewhat rundown. Shower tended to leak. Unfortunately, noise from activities outside hotel up to 4am penetrated room, whether window open or closed so sleep was disturbed. Whether noise was related to public holiday I don't know.

Wonderful location to look around Jerusalem. Breakfast was not so bad. But, the room was shabby, and couldn't feel comfortable while staying in the room.

Extremely small bathroom, good sized desk and two chairs in room with queen-sized bed, however the only in-room amenity was a modern flat-screen television but most channels were by subscription. No 'fridge in room. Staff very helpful and requested information given freely and accurately. Hotel is well served by local transport (bus and light train), but most taxi drivers don't know where the hotel is located!
