Awesome place to stay! * Lovely place, not far from the Medina (<15 min by car) * Super friendly people I'll be back.

No taxi driver knows how to get there. The hotel lies in a new neighborhood still under construction.

Whilst the hotel was in itself beautiful, its location some miles out of the city centre is not very practicalas the taxi fares to and from town (there are no buses) made the stay more expensive than budgeted for. The receptionist's insistance that we needed a guide for a day was at first sight a good idea but in reality it was a glorified chauffer service, the guide only went where he wanted to go, he would not take us to see at least one attraction. Despite the receptionist 's assurance that the guide would barter for us in the souks he in fact did not and again took us to stalls where he had connections. We paid up to 5 times more than we should have on a number of occasions when buying goods. We dismissed the guide early but still had to pay for the day. The other staff at the hotel (Tariq etc) were without fault - couldn't do enough for the guests.

the Riad is a new one, very well equipped and decoration is very nice giving you the ambiance of an old villa. An excellent swimming pool. Personel is very friendly. the road to the hotel is not yet finished, not big deal, as just a 100 meters turnaround then you are again on a straight road.
