Location
The A9 autostrada linking Italy and Switzerland is less than 15 minutes away from the Palace. It is under an hour from Milan's two airports, where there are excellent rail links and taxis. The golf course at Villa d'Este and the gardens of Villa Olmo are also within easy reach of the hotel.

Rooms are old, but comfortable. Bathroom clean, but if you love modern bathrooms, this is not your place. No central air, unit is in the room, lucky me, weather was cool I did not have turn it on. Breakfast was good, Location is good, walk to all the shopping, literally across the street from lake and boats... Hotel provides paid parking!

I could have sat at our lake view window for the entire trip and been happy. Hotel was wonderful.

Our second visit to Lago De Como and the second for this excellent hotel. Stayed in the older part of the hotel this time and the room was enormous & well appointed. Breakfast in the 'Ballroom' was as good as you can get and more than ample. The onsite, paid parking was welcome & not too expensive.

Arrived in rush-hour, so was a bit tortuous to find and enter the entrance ~ blame the sat nav more than the hotel. Used the secure underground parking - very good and more resonably priced than previous in Milano! Very clean, efficient and aimed at professional market - we were just overnighters passing through so too good for our needs; but perfect all the same.

Very convenient location. Just across from ferries that leave for Bellagio. Very helpful staff.
