Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Mouldy bathroom around tiles and bath in poor condition. Wasn't expecting anything great for the money but should be clean. Waste basket in bathroom had not been emptied from past guests and it was full. Still not emptied on departure. Bed comfy and location quite good. Would think again next time.

Definitely not a 'resort', but an acceptable budget standard property competitively priced for a short stay in the peak holiday season #1st week of the new year#. Airconditioner extremely noisy, blanket on one of the beds looked like it had been chewed by rats...but hotel does appear to be in process of updating #clue was the penciled note re paint colours written on back of bathroom door# Pool was 'closed for maintenance' when we arrived, but it seemed that the pump may not have been working as water cloudy. Many guests walking around the property and pool area drinking from beer bottles, but maybe that's typical of the Gold Coast...Convenient location close to beach and Gold Coast attractions, so overall an acceptable place to stay despite its' limitations.

The inside was a little worse for wear and needs some attention. The room itself was a little tired with some rust in areas of the bathroom where hand rails had come off. The bedding was very comfortable and the linen extremely clean as was the pillows. The entrance outside could do with a lift.
