Location
This Outrigger Hotel is only 14 kilometres from the Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and only 6.4 kilometres from downtown Honolulu. A short walk along Waikiki Beach will take you just 1.6 kilometres to the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, or the Waikiki Aquarium.

We went to the Honolulu for a wedding and booked a last minute flight and hotel. We were very happy with the hotel, staff and location. We would stay here again.

The Outrigger Reef on the Beach probably is the LAST good value hotel in all of Waikiki, let alone ON Waikiki Beach. Their recent renovations help them keep up with the higher end hotels that surround it. The hotel concierge staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

The location of the room was not good as I overlooked the front entrance and found it noicy in the early AM. However, that was the only downside. The presentation was very nice, the staff was excellent, and the location right on the beach was perfect. In addition, they allowed me to use the hospitality suite for a shower and change after discharge to prepare for my flight home, which was a big bonus. I would recommend the hotel but ask for the room location.
