one of best parts of my thailand trip. great secluded hotel with personal bungalow. nice beach and pool. consider outside street for much cheaper restaurants, massages, and tours by locals. rented 1/2 day longtail boat for 1400 baht to go island hopping.

The resort is getting tired and whilst it has all of the facilities of a 4.5 star resort, some of them have seen better days.

We found the resort exceeded our expectations with an awesome pool and fantastic private beach. The bungalows were well maintained, clean and comfortable. However ordering room service was difficult due to the staff not being able to speak much English. Apart from that the food was amazing and we loved the facilities of the resort. We stayed 7 nights and definitely could stay for another 7! Will definitely be back there, we loved our time at Phi Phi Island Village Resort.

Our honeymoon couldn't be better! Very friendly staff throughout the resort. A lot of privacy in the hillside villa. Restaurants a bit pricey but the food was great. The "Sandbar" was excellent! Good drinks and entertainment.

Great place to stay on Phi Phi. Lovely clean private beach and a great pool too. Top tip of course is to eat in the village behind the resort. Just go out the staff exit at the back and you'll find 5 or 6 great cheap restaurants. We didn't eat at the hotel once. There's also a couple of mini marts back there for snacks and the coop market by the staff canteen that sells cheap beers!

Phi Phi Island Village Resort is secluded, beautiful and picturesque, some would describe it as paradise. We stayed as part of a wedding party and the setting was idyllic. The journey to the Island however isn't great but it is well worth it once you arrive. I would definetely stay here again.

The resort style is good and relaxing. Essentially not many things to do but then the idea to go to a resort is to relax first and do things second.

Beautiful location. Got lost in the jungle and the hotel sent out a search party for us. Very nice people even brought water in case we were dehydrated.

The private location creates an almost Southern Pacific feeling. Staff is very professional. Pricing is fair given the wonderful landscape and atmosphere. Just remember to bring some efficient mosquito protection and your stay at this hotel will be even more perfect than our experience. Top Marks to Phi Phi Island Village Resort!

A lovely place to stay in thatched individual bugalows, near the beach and in the gardens. Lovely beach when the tide is up and huge swimming pool. The private villas on the hill are well worth an upgrade too. Main disappointment was the food, which tried too hard to cater to too many tastes and was fairly average.

insanely overpriced (ie $20 for a plate of chips) staff spoke extremely poor english, and also you had to pay for everything up to and including the use of snorkels, which i have never encountered in a resort before. Will never stay there again.

Excellent, secluded location with an amazing beach! Very nice rooms well thought out in a tropical theme. The resort is located on the other side of the Phi Phi island and takes a short boat trip to get to (about 15 mins). In my opinion, it''s better suited for those who like a quiet hideaway - no crowds, quiet beach, nice upscale local restaurant. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it!

I have just spend an idyllic vacation at Pee Pee Island Village... thanks to all the staff there....

Complaints.... a few minor ones... I found the bed extremely soft and suffered from back trouble during my stay Additionally, the standard on "non" Thai food should be improved...

Apart from that I could not and do not wish to find fault with the vacation....

It is a very beautiful place to stay for a few days, relax, forget everything and enjoy yourself very much. The staff is very friendly, they help you in everything you need and always with a very big smile. If you want to have very quiet holidays, don''t think it, go to PhiPhi village resort and spa.

It would be very helpful to have completely understood the limitations on ferry travel and transfers from the ferry to the Resort. Also to know that there is no direct telephone access to the rooms. None of this was insurmountable, and the remoteness was a big part of the charm of the Resort. But forewarned is forearmed.

Absolute paradise. Pleasant and friendly staff. Lovely bungalows were comfortable, especially considering the limited resources of the island. (The hotel is responsible for generating its electricity and collecting/filtering its water.) The beach is breathtakingly beautiful & the water crystal clear. The very gentle slope of the beach means that water recedes greatly at low tide. But the swimming pools were fine while one waits for tide to rise in the mornings. Also, the hotel can arrange snorkelling tours to other bays or coral reefs with your own private longtail boat. Some crowding problems may arise in the future, as a Sofitel hotel is under construction on the adjacent hillside. But during our stay, we didn''t have to worry about that.
