Outback Pioneer Hotel Ayers Rock Guest Reviews
This hotel is placed very well within the resort, it is quiet, well maintained and has 3 places to eat. No-one should expect too much luxury in the middle of a desert with both food and accommodation, however, we found it delivered all that we needed to enjoy Uluru and Kata Juta. The local (free) bus and all the tour buses leave from outside the office, the pool area looks very clean, breakfasts are very expensive in Bough restaurant but again there are other options available by taking the little bus to the other part of the resort. Note, there is no movie theatre at the main resort any more. Sails is a very nice place to eat.

Great room. Each time we have stayed there (4 times) our room has got better.

If you want to stay overnight in Ayers Rock, there is no much choice, therefore they OVERcharge! Difficult to find a place to eat, unless eating outside by almost freezing temperature is your cup-of-tea! Don't stay unless you have to.
