The hotel was clean, good size, free good internet if using cable connection (very week wireless). Staff tried to help and provided a map showing the Metro stations & attractions but the hotel is 1.5km walk to Bologna Metro. We later found the stops for buses 542 and 61 (also go to Bologna Metro station) about 0.5km from hotel. L'Event shows bus routes. The same ticket can be used on bus and Metro 1 euro for 75 minutes or 4 euros a day TV was hard to operate, we could not find an English speaking channel for news Breakfast was Ok but no fresh fruit, cornflakes may be better kept fresh in a sealed container. We were asked to pay 12 euros for local tax at check out but believed that all tax had been paid when booked through hotelclub.com

The hotel was clean and surprisingly big for Rome. The only downside was the 15 min trek to Bologna station and then 3 stops to Termini. After a long day, that last walk is one I could have done without. But the hotel was nice enough.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay on a budget, the room feels 4-5 star the staff are friendly, helpful and polite the only downfall is the location not very close to restarants and doesn't provide dinner or lunch services and a little difficult to find. The haordryer was a bit of a pain if you have long hair.

This hotel is a surprise experience to me! first, it locates actually far from the city and is even hard to find from metro. Next big disappointment is that the staff forget to clean room when I leave the hotel for the whole day. And when I come back, facing the two baskets full of rubbish, they can only say to change room for us. It is outrageous to us, and I wouldn't want to stay there again.
