The Pool on the roof really is the highlight of the hotel, but it was also very clean and the staff were really nice. Although its a bit out the way, its really easy to get around with the train station so close, and taxis are pretty cheap.

Perfect for going from and to the airport. You can go by Metro or train. Near National Archelogic Muséum. 3 stations from center/Syntagma.

For staying in Athens on a budget I don't think you could beat Oscar. It is just a 30 second walk from Larissa Metro station making it very easy to get into the city centre from the hotel. The rooftop pool is so nice to get back to after a hot day walking round the sights, it is only small, about 5m by 10m but still very relaxing to sit out there for a bit in the evening. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Freundliche Zimmer, verkehrsgünstige Lage (Bus, Metro und Zug direkt vor dem Haus) aber nicht gerade ruhig. Aufzüge nicht sehr vertrauenserweckend. Frühstück sehr spartanisch.

Excellent value and conveniently located only 50m from a metro station. Pleasant rooftop bar with small swimming pool.
