Once again flew into Singapore tired from work. Booking in was a breeze as usual and the room was clean and well presented. I lay down on the huge bed and fell asleep straight away, best nights sleep in a while(11 hrs). So nothing planned was achieved that afternoon. Knew I had alot to accomplish but only limited time so asked for a late check out, no problem. Even after I eventually checked out the staff could not have done more to accommodate my needs. Good people make this place everything it should be.

Having stayed in this hotel many years ago with family I chose to give it another go and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived 8:30 am and although check in was not until 2pm the lovely lady at reception had a room for me by 10am. I was invited to use their pool facilities for freshening up but the shower area was a little cramped so I went to have a coffee at the nearby Starbucks. the room I was given was on the 11th floor and I was extremely happy about the 2 balconies. It just makes the room appear a bit larger - not that they're small. Breakfast was included and pretty standard. Check out was 2pm the next day but my luggage was stored while I went on more shopping expeditions. The only downside to my stay was dinner. It cost me S$ 36 for fried rice and one glass of wine. The restaurant offered a "doggy bag" for the food I had not eaten which I declined. But- food and alcohol are expensive all over Singapore so this should not reflect on the hotel. A huge thank you to the concierge and the helpers who were ever so obliging adding more and more bags to my stored luggage. Compared to Bangkok hotels are almost double the price in Singapore but I enjoyed my stay and the comfy bed.

The Orchard Parade is very conveniently situated for Orchard Road and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It is looking a bit tired, however.

We stayed for 3 nights (Room no. 304) and were pleased that we were allowed to check in early (1st Feb 2011) and check out late (4 Feb 2011), 8.30am and 2.00pm, respectively. Another brilliant gesture by the Hotel was upgrading of our deluxe room to family room without any extra charge; big enough to accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. Location of hotel suits our holiday plans. Overall, the hotel standard is good and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family members.

This is a nice hotel , right in the heart of Orchard Road.Convenient for just about everything. The in-house TV service could do with a bit of overhaul. In spite of new flat screen tv, reception on many channels not so good and very limited sports channel. Hotel information is also out of date. For the money, recommended.
