Location
The Omni Shoreham is located on Calvert Street, just four blocks from the National Zoo. The hotel is north of downtown DC, just a block from a DC Metrorail Station.

A truly elegant hotel only a 2 minute walk to the Metro and 10 minutes to the zoo.

stayed for 8 nights as visiting son at University in DC - hotel exceeded my expectations - excellent service - has been renovated very tastefully so hasn't lost its charm and elegance - great location for us as lovely walk through the park to Georgetown with its great shops & bars - remember to take your photo ID as some restaurants & bars there insist on it before serving alcohol - we are in our 50s & look it but were asked for ID at Uno`s- metro station close to hotel if you dont like walking & the Irish Bar cross the road serves great food & has a good atmosphere - open top bus tours stop across from Hotel and great value - not shopping around next time - going back here

The Omni Shoreham was a very beautiful 1930s hotel with extremely attentive reception and housekeeping staff.
