Lovely old hotel in the French Quarter, staff was attentive, room very clean. My only negative comment was the small size of the room and bathroom.

Most notable are the decor (different from modern sym-hotels, i.e. Marriott). The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful.

Great location, a couple blocks from Jackson square. Rooms are outdated and the facility needs an overhaul, but overall good enough for a short trip. Word of advice, ask for a higher floor since any rooms below the top level which don't face the street will face a wall instead.

Friendly staff. Dirty room and very dated. Manager did have it recleaned, but still not great. Hotel in major need of a renovation. Great location. Have stayed at many omnis in the past, which is why I choose this one.

This historic hotel is very nice. The room was small and there wasn't much space in the bathroom, but it was easy walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is kept up well, and the staff is friendly.

In town for the work boat show and this was close enough to the convention center and far enough from bourbon st to let me sleep. Great room, great staff.

By far, the best hotel in New Orleans French Quarter and Bourbon area! My friend and I picked this hotel the day we arrived in New Orleans after our "bargin hotel" was a flop and we needed a plan B. We found this hotel and the price was amazing! We were 2 blocks from French Quarter and 3 blocks or so from Bourbon street! Valet service was amazing and the beds were VERY comfortable! Cound not ask for a better hotel in a better location!

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient to the French Quarter and all of its attractions. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful with our questions. Compared to previous trips and locations around the city, it is one of the best places I've stayed while in New Orleans.

Hotel staff was friendly and professional. Hotel rooms need updating. Curtains in my room window was torn. Housekeeping had several complaints.

Hotel was enjoyable. Great starting point for our day trips or just to hang in the quarter. Just be aware of the parking rates if you have a rental and an additional fee but this is to be expected. Service and room were clean and quick. Would stay again and reccommend.

It's a beautiful hotel reflecting the gorgeous architectural qualities of NOLA. The staff were really pleasant and courteous. We didn't encounter any issues, nor did we have any special requests so it's difficult to judge exactly how good the staff were, but I certainly didn't have any complaints. The room was a little on the small side, but it wasn't anything that was devastating. The shower was AMAZING, the TV was a little on the old side. The upper terrace area gives you a really great view of the city which is stepped up further with the observatory deck. Definitely worth a visit if you want to take some beautiful scenic shots of the city. Also a great place to just relax after a long day of touring.

Real Charm about this hotel. A stone's throw from the action of Bourbon Street, yet far enough to get away from the action of Bourbon Street.
