The hotel itself is fine as long as you don't ask for anything. Room service took over an hour to arrive. Events which they put on at this 'all inclusive' resort that they charged US$70 per person was a complete rip off. False advertising and when a complaint was made, the Omni management were incredibly rude and there was no attempt at customer recovery. Instead they got defensive and aggressive.

we booked the hotel w/out the all inclusive package, and added the 99 dollar per day per person all inclusive deal upon arrival. the manager tried to charge us 119 a day, but i have already called before and found out the cost to be only 89. after a short discussion, we got the rate of 99 per day. it's a good deal consider that you can eat and drink as much as you want through out the day until 3pm on the day that you leave. food was so so overall.

Booked this last minute based upon reading many very + reviews. Upon check in we had been given a room with 2 murphy beds. Easily remedied by awesome staff Rooms very average. Food ok at best. Beach awesome. Pools nice. Overall, there was nothing wrong with the hotel, but there was nothing exceptional either and that is the problem. For the money you are getting what inwould consider a moderately upscale resort as compared to a full blown upscale resort. This was not my first time to Cancun and will not be my last. it will however be my last time at the omni. Of note, upon check out, the bellman asked us what we thought of the omni as compared to other resorts. I was honest with him. He told me that he has been hearing the same thing and wanted to let us know there was a new manager

This hotel is a very nice family destination. The breakfast buffet is very good. If you don't want to eat at the hotel all the time, the all inclusive may not be the best deal for you. Don't take a taxi, but instead use the local bus - very cheap.

All of the employees at the hotel were extremely friendly and warm! The hotel was very clean and the facilities were clean and well taken care of. I would stay here again! The only complaint I would make is that the food was not very good. We found breakfast at the restaurant on the beach was good if we ordered omelettes from the kitchen but other than that lunch and dinner were disappointing and over-priced.
