When we arrived, the receptionist told us that we didn't have a reservation, and when we showed the confirmation of our booking and payment, he said that he never had heard about the website. They wanted us to pay again, which we refused. After a long discussion we finally got a twin room, even though we had booked a double. The room was extremely small, there was hardly room to fit the suitcase, the wardrobe and cupboard couldn't open since they stood to close to the beds and there were no hooks to hang neither your jackets nor your towels. You didn't get shampoo which you would expect from a three star hotel. All in all not priceworthy, and more a 1 star than a 3 star hotel.

The rooms ajacent to the main road are extremely noisy with the traffic, the rooms at the back are much smaller but quieter. This is a no frills place, basic and simple, location is pretty good with tube only a couple of mins walk away.

Good location near Earls Court tube station. The area is not fantastic, neither is the hotel, but it is a good cheap option for a short stay in London.

The staff were very unhelpful and the facilities were dirty. The room was small, hardly a double as was claimed. The traffic noise was extremely loud and we could not close the window as the room was hot and stuffy. We asked for some form of fan but the staff again were, initially, not very helpful. The 'Continental' breakfast was a joke.

I often stay in budget hotels and know what to expect for the money I pay. However the Olympia Hotel London is a totally frustrating experience. My room had a very clean bathroom (small but this is to be expected) with good fxtures and fittings and clean comfortable beds. However with the temperature below freezing I had a window that virtually flapped in the wind as the catch was broken. The radiator would not work so I had to ask to have the heating turned on. The kettle contained a mouldy teabag which had obviously been there weeks and had made the inside of the kettle all rusty. I got a replacement kettle but it did not work. However, the biggest problem was the complete lack of any water in the morning. Having a good bathroom is totally useless if there is no water for a shower or even to clean your teeth. Don't start your day off in a bad mood like I did, just go somewhere else.

Very small rooms; reasonably priced when booked ahead over Internet. Friendly personnel. Only basic breakfast. Good location near underground for those arriving to Heathrow and continuing to city centre or elsewhere next day.

It was difficult to obtain information about parking prior to our visit. on arrival the receptionist was helpful but considering we didn't know London very well, instructions to car parks were not at all clear and a local car park map may be useful to introduce. Eventually it was discovered the nearest would cost £55 for 24 hours. Another - more that walking distance away would have cost £32. needing to get the car out next morning and repark it to visit some museums and therefore having to re park it - we decided not to stay overnight and returned home. so - unable to comment beyond this.

you pay for what you get. wouldn't recommend for ur parents but going over with a bunch of lads is grand even if the place is a bit of a dive. paper thin walls, dirty walls + tiny rooms. no lift n had to climb 3 stories. good points - excellent bathroom funnliy enuf and 2 min walk to tube. done the job but would not go again. worth to pay that bit extra for a bit of comfort.

The room was world record small, but it was fine for a single. Very good location as it is close to Earl's Court underground. The bathroom was freshly renovated and spotless with a good shower. The hotel is a good value for the money, as hotel rooms are very expensive in London. I would stay there again.
