If you go to this hotel to sit in the room you'll be disappointed, but if you get off your tuff and enjoy life nothing beats ocean city. Good food, boardwalk, fishing, its got it all. And to top it off this hotel is right on the water, you can almost fish from your room!

My girlfriend and I scheduled this trip within 3 weeks of actually going. And for the price we got a great deal. The motel is old, and the rooms are small, but the view and location is fantastic. This is, however, only the case if you end up in a room with a bay or inlet view. We got lucky and were placed on the second floor with a bay view. It was a small room, but it was expected. A perfect place to stay if all you need is a place to sleep. Walking distance from the boardwalk, which was awesome. Another huge plus was that there is a jetskii rental right behind the motel, which the motel has coupons for. Very fun stuff. Only thing that really bothered me was that every morning you could hear the seagulls landing on top of the roof while they made whatever noises seagulls make. I would stay here again. Very affordable and if you get the right room it can be a great experience.

the location was really good,the room had a lot to be desired,it was really small,bathroom very small.there was no microwave,only one light worked in the room,no outlet for the other light.

It is first important to state that we are a young couple, both 22 years old who went on vacation to relax, have fun, and catch up on some sleep. We have gone on many vacations from cruises, to trips to Florida with no complaints.. I can't say the same for this vacation. While Ocean City was great from the food to entertain, this motel was very poor. My boyfriend is a business owner, so rest was a somewhat of a priority in the early morning. Rest was far from what we got at this motel. First, there were no curtains on the windows, letting every bit of light in at night and in the morning. The obnoxious light outside the room made it impossible to sleep well at night and the maid coming at 8AM to clean the room was not appreciated. When telling her we did not want her at 8AM she said that the room would not be cleaned then and in result the room was never cleaned, our bed was never made (I had to do it myself), and the towels were never replaced (I had to find clean towels and replace them myself). The only positive thing about the actual motel was it's close distance to the boardwalk and bay.

Overall, I was pretty happy with the hotel. The room was a bit small, but it was fine for what it was. The price was good and staff were super friendly. They offered free coffee, fruit, and a newspaper, which was really nice. The location of the Oceanic was great; right on the water! I also really liked that it was away from the hussel and bussel of the boardwalk, but still within walking distance to rides, shops, and places to eat. We rarely drove the whole 4 days we were there. My only complaint is that the room was on the small side. But thats almost worth the money I saved by staying here.
