Ocean Pointe should be closed by the health dept. Shower curtain had mold, tub was not clean, porta potties instead of bathrooms at the pool,skimpy balcony, inadequately equipped kitchen, dirty restaurant, many feral cats, rocky "beach". expired inspections on elevators, used condom on trail below our "balcony" and tampon holder on the grounds by the "cafe". We left early and management refused to refund the nights we prepaid for but did not stay. This was a horrendous experience. I cannot believe anybody could give this place a favorable rating and anybody who does is doing a disservice to others.

We enjoyed our stay at the Key Largo Ocean Pointe Suites. This is an old resort although our room was clean and comfortable. If you want to see all of the Florida Keys this is a good base to operate from. The grounds are well maintained. Check in and resort personnel were polite and helpful. There are many good restaurants located within a reasonable distance. Although I rate this resort as acceptable on my next trip I will stay in a more upscale resort.

We were very pleased with our room and the location. It was clean, comfortable and very easy to come and go. We did not spend a lot of time in our room because we were there for the water activities in the area. We snorkeled at John Pennekamp (10 min away) and Bahia State Park(well worth the 1 hr drive.) Awesome fish and coral viewing. We also kayaked which was pretty fun but not nearly as exciting as the snorkeling. Be sure to pick up a few books and maps when you check in. This will give you some coupons and ideas of places to go.

This Resort has it's own marina on the property. It also has a pool, Tennis Courts and a beach volleyball court. The Condo was somewhat dirty, mainly from inconsistant cleaning as the doors and walls were the main thing that was dirty. Overall a pretty good hotel though.

An excellent resort that offered clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation. The surrounding area is also extremely pleasant, only downside on our visit was that the café was being worked on but was nearing completion ahead of Christmas 2008.
