I hate to even re-live my experience there. This hotel is a filthy dump and it is full of negative energies starting with the stone-faced so called hateful manager at the front desk. Coupled with the booze and drug fueled fighting guests, this place needs to be avoided at all costs (especially if you have children or need something like SLEEP)! Sleep during the day because from midnight to 6am, you won't get ANY! Most of the employees there (especially manager) do not appreciate your business at all and it shows big time! I did have a couple decent waiters/resses, and I have to give a big shout out to Vivian at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful, helpful and understanding to my complaints and desperate need of another room. But, when I went to check out the manager saw where I had a room change and charged me for additional "hotel fees" which I had paid on arrival! He informed me that "the computer had been cleared out" ? and needed to charge my acct. again. I will see if there is any truth to this when my credit card arrives. I feel like I am in for another fight though. Another major problem was the kitchen facilities I paid for. The 1st room had a microwave with the handle completely broke off and could not even open it. Didn't want to use anyway after turning on lights to watch 2 roaches and another bug I didn't recognize crawl across the counters. Then the 2nd room, on desired nice 10th floor (see pics below) blessed me with a nice oven which was completely disabled and I was locked out of. Tried to warm a simple frozen pizza up on stove (where 1 burner worked), but there was no supplies to even get this accomplished. Silverware had been used and simply put back in drawer. Trying to wash the dishes was impossible too since all that was provided was a dirty used sponge. Not 1 washrag or towell in either room. No soap so I ended up using my personal bath wash. The whole place was just gross. We really could have used a simple bath mat too. Marble floors and water do not get along. Did not provide. No complaints on the food/drinks. Turned out to be very pricey though because I ended up paying for kitchen facilities and was forced to eat out every meal!

On a budget this was a great find but still lacked alot to be a great vacation spot. The Parking situation was aweful to me. The Hotel dosn't run there own parking lot so prepare for nightly parking charges if there are any. We did pay for the Vallet service just to make sure we had parking. Lots wrong with our room but the bed was comfy and they did move us from the city view to the ocean view without a charge. That was a pleasant surprise and we were grateful. We have to say after reading all the reviews we were so afraid we had made a terrible mistake but we were all in all pleasantly surprised for a hotel on the ocean on a budget.

I thought it was great. Room could have been a little more put together but other than that it nice everyone was very friendly except for some of the people who actually lived in the resort. Loved the tiki bar and the ocean view was beautiful.

Old and grungy. Bathtub looked dirty with hairs still on the wall. My daughter refused to go in it and I can't blame her. The curtain looked dirty too... The bathroom door didn't close and the door to the bedroom seemed about to give up too. Even when locked, there was a gap... The extra blanket was covered with bleach stains and it doesn't make it look inviting. However, the beds were soft and comfortable enough, even though they made you roll towards the other person in the middle. I love old charm, but there, it's definitely no longer charming. I would not recommend it!

The lobby, Sushi restaurant and Tiki Bar were nice. They charged my credit card $110 at check in. More than the price you gave me. The door would not close and was coming apart. They charged $7 dollars to park and there was no attendant when I left the hotel at 5 am to go to my appointment. My truck was parked down the street. The furniture in the room was very old and the wood was peeling. The room and halls needed to be painted. The shower filled with water before the water even got hot. There was a safe without a locking mechanism. 1 towel in the bathroom. I would not stay here again if the room was free.

The Noise from club downstairs and the loud music from the room next door next made it nearing impossible to get any sleep until after 3:30am The room’s door knob and lock where broken and literally falling out, making leaving my valuables unsafe. The Room was incredibly dusty and dirty. The nightstand lamp had cobwebs and the light flickered There was a coffee maker but no coffee or set up. There was No Bellman, we had to bring our luggage on a cart to room by ourselves by freight elevator. The Ice machine, in basement, was dirty and the floor was wet and slippery. The bathtub was chipped and peeling. The walls in the room and bathroom were broken, chiped, stained, rusty, moldy and just disgusting There were No hangers in closet The Toilet made a horrible loud noise when flushed The Air conditioner was extremely noisy The Beds are old, noisy and very lumpy There were No towels for pool or beach The TV remote didn’t work There was an electrical power strip and electrical extensions exposed, tangled and directly under the coffee maker and refrigerator, this was so dangerousThere was a dirty Ironing board but no iron The luggage rack was broken and rusty There were no hangers in the closet, and the door was missing. There is Nothing “Resort” about this establishment. The idea that they charge a $10 resort fee is insulting. I honestly have stayed at Motel 6’s that are cleaner, better well kept, quieter, and more comfortable for 1/3 the price than this “Resort”

I'm trying to find one nice thing to say about Ocean Manor, and all I can come up with is the view was beautiful. There was one very nice receptionist downstairs, but really, that's it. I checked in around 12am, after a long flight, and found no one at the check in counter. No one for about 10 mins. When I booked this hotel, the deal was for a room with a king size bed or 2 full size beds, and what I got was a room with one full size bed. The hotel has not been renovated. The doorway to my room was physically coming off at the doorframe. The bathroom was very old and moldy. I had to wear my flipflops in the shower so that I could make it through the experience. The air conditioning vents were so full of dust and filth that I did not use it. The ice vending machine is found by using the service elevator and entering the basement, a maze of weird twists and turns, and the ice is yours. You wouldn't know where to find it though, again no one was at the reception counter, I found out by asking another patron of the hotel. A very unhappy experience. Yuck.

I was very nervous the day before we left on this vacation as i was reading the other reviews and seeing how people were having such a bad time. We did not experience any of that!! The staff was SO nice and helpful. Check in was extremely fast and easy and they actually gave us 2 rooms to look at and we could pick whichever one we wanted. We, or course, went for the oceanview room which was amazing! the room itself needs some updating and it wasn't the cleanest room ever, but we overlooked that as everything else was so nice. we easily got fresh towels near the pool every day, and were always provided shower towels and toilet paper whenever we wanted. they cleaning staff was constantly coming around asking if we needed any towels or anything else. The food at the Sushi restaurant was amazing! our waitor was so nice. and the tiki bar is the place to be! the worst part was that we had to leave our tropical paradise!

This is a great location. The hotel is under renavation. I can see that this hotel is old an needs lots of work. However, with the size and the age of the hotel it will take awhile before it is done to modern work. The room I was in needs much work. The room was old and could use much work. Not sure what the owners are willing to do for expenses in order to get to modern terms. But maybe through much work and money invested this could be a wonderful place.

The staff was rude. Cellphone was stolen out of valet. The rooms very extremly terrible. Was not what I expected at all. The feeling was nasty so we refuse to stay. I booked the trip on a package deal, we ended up just taking the loss and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. This is a nasty hotel. I took one look at the rooms and turned around. Even the upgrades were horrible. . I didnt see any bed bugs, however it just had that nasty feeling. This is not a hotel; more like a motel.

Not a bad hotel, be ready to add to your bill $ 10/day for beach use and $ 7/day for valet parking (these 2 you must pay). Chairs $10/day at the beach. You cannot take towels to the beach, they're $5 each. No food or drinks of your own at beach or pool area, you have to buy them at their bar (beers $5-8 each). Breakfast for 3, around $55. Pool closes early 8PM. No WiFi in rooms ONLY in Lobby, not in the pool either. Staff is not friendly, do not try to make you feel "wanted" at the Hotel. Otherwise it's just one of those Hotels you'll soon forget.

Upon arrival to this hotel front desk staff were more concern, with taking our money than making us feel welcome. The room was in poor condition. I was greeted by a bed with dirty shams, one of them with lipstick. The floor where we stayed, was noisy. The room did not have an alarm clock,so we asked for a wake up call. They forgot. If you select this hotel based on the nice location, you are going to be deeply desapointed. The outside is nice, the inside is another story.

The hotel looked gorgeous on the pictures, but in reality turned out to be old, rather "worn out", the bathrooms are clean but old, the corridors need to be pained. On the plus side, its right on the beach, and they have a pool and a tiki bar. But you have to pay for parking, and if you want and ocean view room you have to pay extra too, and there is really a big difference between the pics and "reality", it just needs renovation. Ive seen better and ive seen worse. If you dont plan to spend your vacation in the room, the hotel is ok, but if you want something nice, get smth else.

Overall not a bad trip. Dissapointed in a few things with hotel. Houskeeping service not great. First room, had no hangers or trash can, and waited a long time before getting. Not happy with first room, got a second room that was much better. Shower remodel was not done correctly in the room, as the water ran right out of shower onto the floor. Tried to keep water from running out with a towel, which was hard because they only had two towels, one hand towel, and no washcloths in a room occupied by two people. After calling desk for more towels it took hours to get any, same with getting extra bed pillow. Also unhappy that we were charged another $10.00 per day for a "resort fee" ....resort meant we got two towels at the pool, and we were not allowed to take any of our own food or drinks to the pool OR the beach! Some coffee shop staff was not at all friendly either. Resteraunt and tiki bar staff were very good and friendly. Front desk staff also nice.

Overall, not bad. The staff was friendly and allowed me 6 different room keys to see which view I would enjoy more, without any charge to upgrade. The tiki bar and beach are beautifal and always a fun place to hang out at. The airport was a lot farther away than it said; roughly $40 in taxi costs (10 miles.) You have to pay for towels ($8 for 1 bath towel) which was a surprise. The area is great but I saw a lot of other hotel options right on the beach that Im sure were way cheaper and just as nice. Theres not much to do in walking distance, and taxi costs add up fast if you dont have a rental car.

Only way to describe the room is nasty. Had to beg for towels daily. Most days we got 1 towel, 1 wash cloth & maybe a hand towel. They were remodeling a room above. It was constant drilling, hammering, sawing & banging all day long. At night there was parting, shouting & fighting in the hallways til 4 AM. We finally got moved to another room which was clean, but still not towels. We had to put up with Tikki Bar loud music until early morning. Still no sleep. The toilet leaked & the bathroom light would go out for long periods of time (usually when one of us was in the shower. This was not a resort. We spent most of our time trying to get service from the hotel which left less time for rest and relaxation. It was horrible. We have never had problems on vacation prior to this. Never! Now no one (Orbitz or the hotel) wants to take responsibility for overcharging us for what was supposed to be a Resort hotel. I have made numerous phone calls since we arrived home to no avail. We should have done what another couple did....they called you and then left for another hotel. We both have taken Orbitz vacations, but unless something is done about ruining our vacation by you or the Hotel, we will no longer use you for anything, or suggest your services for others.
