Ocean Manor Beach Resort Fort Lauderdale Guest Reviews
The lobby, Sushi restaurant and Tiki Bar were nice. They charged my credit card $110 at check in. More than the price you gave me. The door would not close and was coming apart. They charged $7 dollars to park and there was no attendant when I left the hotel at 5 am to go to my appointment. My truck was parked down the street. The furniture in the room was very old and the wood was peeling. The room and halls needed to be painted. The shower filled with water before the water even got hot. There was a safe without a locking mechanism. 1 towel in the bathroom. I would not stay here again if the room was free.

The Noise from club downstairs and the loud music from the room next door next made it nearing impossible to get any sleep until after 3:30am The room’s door knob and lock where broken and literally falling out, making leaving my valuables unsafe. The Room was incredibly dusty and dirty. The nightstand lamp had cobwebs and the light flickered There was a coffee maker but no coffee or set up. There was No Bellman, we had to bring our luggage on a cart to room by ourselves by freight elevator. The Ice machine, in basement, was dirty and the floor was wet and slippery. The bathtub was chipped and peeling. The walls in the room and bathroom were broken, chiped, stained, rusty, moldy and just disgusting There were No hangers in closet The Toilet made a horrible loud noise when flushed The Air conditioner was extremely noisy The Beds are old, noisy and very lumpy There were No towels for pool or beach The TV remote didn’t work There was an electrical power strip and electrical extensions exposed, tangled and directly under the coffee maker and refrigerator, this was so dangerousThere was a dirty Ironing board but no iron The luggage rack was broken and rusty There were no hangers in the closet, and the door was missing. There is Nothing “Resort” about this establishment. The idea that they charge a $10 resort fee is insulting. I honestly have stayed at Motel 6’s that are cleaner, better well kept, quieter, and more comfortable for 1/3 the price than this “Resort”

I'm trying to find one nice thing to say about Ocean Manor, and all I can come up with is the view was beautiful. There was one very nice receptionist downstairs, but really, that's it. I checked in around 12am, after a long flight, and found no one at the check in counter. No one for about 10 mins. When I booked this hotel, the deal was for a room with a king size bed or 2 full size beds, and what I got was a room with one full size bed. The hotel has not been renovated. The doorway to my room was physically coming off at the doorframe. The bathroom was very old and moldy. I had to wear my flipflops in the shower so that I could make it through the experience. The air conditioning vents were so full of dust and filth that I did not use it. The ice vending machine is found by using the service elevator and entering the basement, a maze of weird twists and turns, and the ice is yours. You wouldn't know where to find it though, again no one was at the reception counter, I found out by asking another patron of the hotel. A very unhappy experience. Yuck.

I was very nervous the day before we left on this vacation as i was reading the other reviews and seeing how people were having such a bad time. We did not experience any of that!! The staff was SO nice and helpful. Check in was extremely fast and easy and they actually gave us 2 rooms to look at and we could pick whichever one we wanted. We, or course, went for the oceanview room which was amazing! the room itself needs some updating and it wasn't the cleanest room ever, but we overlooked that as everything else was so nice. we easily got fresh towels near the pool every day, and were always provided shower towels and toilet paper whenever we wanted. they cleaning staff was constantly coming around asking if we needed any towels or anything else. The food at the Sushi restaurant was amazing! our waitor was so nice. and the tiki bar is the place to be! the worst part was that we had to leave our tropical paradise!

Unclean, old, not fit to sleep in. Walked in and walked out.
