Located on Ocean Drive in a prime position, the Ocean Five Hotel is steps from Lummus Park and the sandy beach. It is 14 miles from Miami Airport and 7 miles from Downtown Miami with the American Airlines Arena and Performing Arts Centre.

Six-night stay. Location is the best value of the this hotel. No pool, expenxse parking and not on the beach. Small european style rooms.

Ocean 5 is pretty basic accommodation, but if your outside for most of the day, who cares really. The location is on 5th street and ocean drive-on the start of the art deco hotel strip. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful- beds where clean and comfortable and showers had good pressure (something even high end hotels are sometimes lacking). Continental breakfast was a joke- just grab your coffee and have breakfast a few doors down.

Very good location , right on Ocean Drive , but not in the "extremely happenning area" ; the beach was just accross the street . The furniture was rustic and old-fashioned , but overall it was OK given the price/value ratio . The breakfast was included , but totally unspectacular .

The hotel is above the restaurant. Thus, at night it's still very noisy. The location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and beach.
