I was satisified in general, though I didn't try so many services the hotel provides except for the accommodation. However, I didn't feel I was properly being taken care of in the daily breakfast. I felt the staff was too busy to look after me.

This is a hotel to consider if you just need to relax from the hustle bustle that is Egypt. Very close to the pyramids so it is quite a while from the city centre. The location is really quiet and relaxing. Service is nothing impressive and b'fast buffet was the same for all of the three days we stayed there. I don't think they provide large double beds in any of the standard rooms so don't be surprised if you get 2 king single beds.

You need to arrange all your trips around Cairo like pyramids etc before you arrive. You cannot trust the staff in the hotel, as they will try their best to rip you off. Other than that, nice gardens, quiet place, nice pool.

We had a fantastic stay ay Oasis. The rooms and service cannot be faulted. It is on the main road and very close to the pyramids but quite a long way from the centre of Cairo, although they did have a minibus to take you in which was very convenient. Definitely one to recommend

The hotel was very nice....More like a resort than a regular hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was exceedingly comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing and the food served by the restaurants was also very good. All in all we had a wonderful experience there. The only downside was that the hotel was quite far from the airport. Traffic in Cairo is busy late at night and it took us 2 hrs to get to the hotel starting out at 10pm. On the plus side, however, the hotel was located very close to the pyramids and it was kind of nice to be away from the craziness of the city.

Beautiful surroundings with lots of greenery. Individual villas feel luxurious. Location is out of the small town centre, a bit of a distance away from shops, will need a 3 mile walk or more. But close to the Great Pyramid by cab and the staff is helpful and speak English.

Oasis Hotel Cairo is close to the Pyramids but far away from downtown Cairo. There a two different styles of rooms that I know of some that are outside entry rooms in rows. Then there are rooms that are in a building. Either way you'll hear teh 4:30 AM call to prayer. The buffett meals are average.

Hotel is quite good. Beds are terrible in some rooms, ours was like a broken fold-out sofa. It's far from everything, there's a free coach that takes you to behind the Egyptian museum though so it's not too bad. Other than that expect to have to catch cabs, there is nothing at all around the hotel. Service in the bar thing by the pool is non-existent. They ignore you for hours. It's a nice base, but EGP40 to Giza station, about EGP100 to the airport and about EGP30 to the pyramids.

Service at front desk was very bad. The manager on duty was very rude and condesending. Not just to me but to other guests as well. Althiough the actual hotel facitilites were good, the beds in the rooms were pretty poor, as were the showers (althought this was not obvious just upon looking). Also, the location is far from downtown - a good 45-1hour trip - the only good thing was the free shuttle bus service that the hotel had. Overrall, if you dont mind these things, its a good price.

there is simply no restaurants etc within waking distance of Oasis hotel -- rather advise interested members to stay somewhere more central ( example museum area ) as pyramids are not really close enough to oasis hotel to justify a long taxi ride to other attractions

due to trafic congestion in Cairo it took almost three hours to get from the airport to the hotel. the quality of food provided was average. For the rest the hotel was very fine and staff of the hotel was very friendly.

Good location for pyramids, not so good for airport (diagonally opposite side of the city). Excellent ambience - lovely rooms and good for relaxing around the swimming pool after a hard day's sightseeing. Has some interconencting rooms that are great for families.

I quite enjoyed staying here. great environment, very spread out. although the rooms were not exceptional they were good enough for the price (through this site). definately would love to stay there again when visiting cairo.yeah the location is a bit far from down town but quite close to pyramids. and they have the best priced limozine service. when i moved to another hotel cause i had booked it as such i continued calling the company at oasis cause they were just unbeatable in price and service. this guy call hammada is super driver.

Male staff not very helpful. Have to pay for gym/sauna. After housekeeping vacuumed our room, I asked to do it myself as it appeared he didn't know what he was doing. Outside food delivery not allowed. Be prepared for the Thursday night party at the pool--incredibly loud until past midnight. About a half-hr shuttle to downtown Cairo. Quiet location. Grounds are beautiful. Room/bathroom spacious.
