Apartments Oaks Lure is on Church Street near Nelson Bay Cinema Complex. During free time, Nelson Bay vacationers can take on the challenging greens at Nelson Bay Golf Club or shop for souvenirs at Salamander Bay Shopping Centre.

Our family of 4 had plenty of room in our 2 bedroom apartment. Apartments well equipped but note that no laundry facilities in the apartments and only 2 coin operated machines down in basement. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

I booked a two bedroom 4 person room, with four males travelling together we requested that the queen bed be substituted for two singles. A camp bed was provided at an additional cost of $40 per night, plus GST which to me was exorbident. To cap hinges off although the bins were emptied and the towels replaced the beds were not made. Close to e golf course the property suited us but it is not good value for money.

Our experience was simply, NASTY. Yes from the time we arrived at 6.,00pm on a Saturday night, whilost we waited outside int he cold for the reception staff person to get off the personal phone call, to the non-greeting and welcome - just abrupt and rude. We then found that inside the place was definitely in need of some tlc. The outdoor chair was broken with 4 nails sticking up. The pillows were like pregnant jellybeans, the sheets so think you could feel the zip through the middle of the bed, Staying for 2 nights, we expected our room to be serviced, but they ONLY EMPTY THE RUBBISH BINS!! When demanding we needed new coffee cups and fresh sheets, they reluctantly did this, but gave us sheets that had grease stains on them. On check out the staff memeber (a different one) was just as rude - this place is a nightmare!!! Definitely should not be in business!

went to oaks at nelson bay for the weekend. Had a great time. Nice modern and neat.
