My self and my partner stayed at the oaks horizons for New Year's Eve 2012- 2013. When we arrived to our room, it smelt like cigarettes, there was a foul smell in the bathroom. The spa and the sauna were both out of order and the pool was dirty. My boyfriend was evicted from the hotel room on New Year's Eve because he walked out of our room into the lift with a glass of vodka and orange juice. There was absolutely no warning from them. The staff who evicted him were disgustingly rude to me when I asked why, they laughed about it in front of me and said that if I continued to ask questions that they would call the police. They completely ruined our night aswell as other couples that got evicted for the same reason without warnings. I'm disgusted in the service and attitudes from the staff and the manager who I spoke to the next day about it. I would advise no one to stay there, it was the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had!!

We forgot to book a car park, which meant we had to park the car at commercial rates. This was very inconvenient. Door to swimming pool broken, but no signage on it to use alternate door. There was a small sign on the wall when you stepped out of the lift, but it was very hard to read. Facilities are getting tired. Beds were two singles bundled together - ridge in the middle was uncomfortable. There was no kettle in the kitchen. Balcony door did not have a lock on it. Up 15 floors this might not be that important, but it wouldn't have taken much imagination to break in. Bathroom sink did not have a sieve on it - had to be careful not to lose an earning. All things considered, not sure I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent trip back home to catch up with family - room location, amenities and service was great. Easy and affordable parking across the road. Indoor pool and ability to call back up to the room was great. Will stay here again.
