Location
Oaks Calypso Plaza Suites is ideally situated in the heart of Coolangatta, three kilometres from Gold Coast Airport. While on holiday, vacationers can tee off at Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club and Club Banora Golf Course or go fishing on Tweed River.

This is a great spot if you want to be close to beach and restaurants. It is self contained so no resort service but great if you want to save money on eating out all the time as it has good kitchen facilities.

This hotel was pleasant enough but we did not feel it rated four stars. Our room smelt damp and was a little tired (eg. chips in kitchen bench). Hotel amenities were average. We feel this hotel is starting to feel a little past its heyday.

The room was clean comfortable and well maintained, fabulous location right across from beach. Lovely pool and spa, heaps of seating around pool, was a great short getaway,will definitely consider staying again

We had a 2bedroom exc room 427. Great views of the pool and beach. Our balcony was very small and could not all sit out there. The main bedrooms bed was as hard as a rock and very uncomfortable but the pool was excellent perfect for the kids and to spend time with the family they also had an on duty life guard from 9am to 3pm. Perfect spot for children. Adult bed not so good.
