A superb hotel in every respect - rooms, service, food. The riverside location is just fantastic! Can't rate it highly enough.

The hotel is beautiful, the setting, lovely. The staff was considerate and well-meaning, but insufficient to meet the needs of the guests. There was only one server on the terrace for lunch and could not keep up with so many guests. I had to go inside after about 20 minutes waiting to be noticed, just to place my order. Our breakfast was included, but the server or kitchen lost my order, and I waited almost an hour before it arrived, and it was not actually what I ordered. They were very apologetic but it made us late and spoiled what should have been a lovely breakfast. Also, I chose the hotel because it had air conditioning, but it did not work. When I called the consierge, they said it was not turned on at that time of year, but that they would turn it on for our room. It never came on, and the temperature throughout the night was 25 - 26 degrees Centigrade - very uncomfortable for me.
