This was our 3rd trip to Hawaii and our 2nd time staying here - will definitely continue to stay here every time we come to Hawaii, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic, one block from the beach so great value for money. Room was very clean and tidy. Overall I would highly recommend this place, great value for money.

Great hotel, great staff, great location. Excellent value for money. Large room, comfortable bed, ocean view all for $130 per night. What more could you ask for.

I stayed there to sleep for the most part. It had a small deck to sit out on. I enjoyed the experience.

Check in was not friendly, but maid servicer was as good as it gets. My room needed new mattress, could feel all the springs in it. Everything else seemed great.

If you like staying at a place that is clean, affordable, and located in the middle of the action, then Ohana East is a good choice. The rooms were clean and moderatly furnished. The TV was an old CRT, but we did not go there to watch TV. The shower was standard size with lots of water pressure and volume. The bathroom sink was small and did not hold all of my wifes stuff. The pool area was nice. The spa had the biggest back massaging bubbles I have ever felt. It felt and sounded like a big base drum massaging my back. We did not eat at any of the restraunts at this hotel.

We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The bellhops helped us navigate the City bus and figured out our routes for us in advance. The hotel is central to a ton of restaurants and only a couple blocks to the beach. The room and bathroom were small, but comfortable. The housekeeping staff does a great job keeping them clean. We would definitely stay there again if we ever go back!

We were not concerned about having a place with lots of in-house amenities or a beachfront location, since we planned to (and did) spend our waking hours seeing things away from the Waikiki beach area. But, we could walk to the beach whenever we wanted. The room was very clean, the staff very helpful, and we enjoyed our private balcony. The only surprise was the additional fee for self-parking ($20), but the in and out was easy.

The hotel was clean, and in a great location. It was close to the beach and the roundtable pizza downstairs was good! The ocean view was not worth the price, but the mountain view was well worth it! The kitchenette room was nice, but only had a microwave, no place to actually cook. It was a bit misleading, but we made it work. The staff was very nice and helpful. All together, it was well worth the price compared to where I have stayed before. But make sure to visit the hotel pool between 12 and 4, or there won't be any sun to enjoy, as it will be blocked by the other surrounding hotels.

we did a walk tour in all of waikiki enjoyed dinner at Sansei Japanese resturant, just did some R&R> The room was out stnding with street view glad we were up graded. Wish the pool was larger., it was too crowded at times. But we enjoyed our selves never the less, it's better than Ohana west, I would stay here again on my next trip everything is close by just perfect!

Great Hotel! Rooms were very roomy and had everything we needed. I traveled with two of my friends, all girls, so the space in the bathroom was perfect for all our stuff. The pool was very nice and the jacuzzi was excellent. If it had a pool bar it would have been even better but it seemed to be more family oriented which was not bad at all since this hotel was within walking distance to all the shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

Arrived early (9:30am) after disembarking the cruise ship and was checked right in. Offered an $10.00 upgrade to an kitchenette which I took. Best ten dollars I have spent recently. Express elevator to my corner room an the 15th floor. Great views, two balconies (one of which is huge) and a tiny bathroom, just like on the ship. The location IS the center of Waikiki or darn close to it. Didn't try the food or drink but talked to others that liked it. Very nice hotel for the right price. I will stay there again, and soon I hope.
