I was surprised that the hotel didn''t reserve the 3 rooms that I booked on the same level. But the helpful staff at the reception help me to upgrade my room to a suite instead! I was glad that the hotel had internet facilities!<br><br> *ps:I notice that one of the male staff at the reception had this nametag on that states ''Dolly''. Er, dun mean to be rude but that''s a female name! :Þ

A little difficult to find especially for the ''infamously ignorant'' Shenzhen taxi drivers. Better to tell them the Zhi Li Shui Gong Shi (Water Supply Company). But the rooms are pretty new and nice. Value for money. Perhaps more entertainment in the hotel would be nice.

A great Hotel to stay at in Shenzen. Great vaule for the dollar and the free internet access is a great bonus to the business/leisure traveller with a laptop and nice card.

Very clean, spacious rooms with nice decor. Staff very polite and winsomely shy and even the maid spoke a little English. Other reviewers are right that taxi drivers do not know the hotel though. I had to make a preliminary stop at the Shangri-la to get the staff there to write out the name for me in Chinese. It is actually easy to get to, being on the main road west of the centre (a pleasant 30 mins stroll to Dongmen shopping area) just opposite the huge billboard of Deng Xiaoping (a classic in itself).

Concierge & cleaners are extremely pleasant, helpful & polite. Front desk & doorman are not as pleasant & friendly though. Hotel food at the restaurant & room service is not very tasty. Not much TV movie channels. But the room is very nice, bright, clean & new. No airport shuttle is provided from airport to hotel.
