Location
Novotel is located on the southern shore of Lombok, just 60 minutes from Selaparang Airport. Nearby is the Putri Nyale Mountain and the legendary beach of Kuta Putri Nyale.
Rooms
Tropical gardens lead to 23 luxurious bungalows by the beach, plus 77 air-conditioned rooms, decorated with coconut wood and natural colours. Superior rooms have a mix of modern decor, ergonomic comfort and high end facilities. All rooms have either garden or lagoon views.

Novotel provides a la carte service 24/7 at the Empat Ikan Restaurant, which serves seafood and local delicacies, as well as Kafe Chili Restaurant and Pantai Papaya Bar.

Superior accommodation. Staff friendly and helpful. Optional meals and drink epensive by any standard but Kuta Lombok village is walkable, if necessary, and has multiple choices. Airport arrival transfer currently expensive but return rates are negotiable locally.

The rooms are pretty good but the transmission of plumbing noise between bathrooms through aircon ducts is ferocious. The food was pretty average and all prices are far too high for what is fair or reasonable, or on offer locally. It's a long way out, so you will need to hire a motorbike or car. It's also a good 4 hours from the drop off point of the "fast boats" and that transfer costs about IDR400,000. Rather than go that route a second time, we flew out from Mataram (IDR240,000, transfer IDR250,000 and 2.5 hours) Unless you are a surfer, there's not much to do in this area of Lombok.

One of the best Beaches locatiopns i have ever been too, This was our second visit and loved every minute of it, Will be going back as soon as possible. Also great advantage is to have the Seger surf spot on your doorstep, no transportv required.

Highly recommended as a comfortable, relaxed and well-equipped place to stay in Lombok. Hotel makes an effort to organise activities etc., there are free canoes, windsurfers etc. and the beach is spotless. Deluxe rooms are a little too small to spend a lot of time in, but as long as the weather holds there is little reason to do so anyway. No tennis courts or squash courts etc. was a bit surprising for a resort of this size but at the price this is a great option for a relaxed week on the beach.

Stunning nature, lovely beach, a lot of free activities and wonderful food, nice atmosphere, extremely helpful staff, everything very positive but one aspect: there is a very big difference between staying in a bungalow and staying in the unattractive main building. The rooms are nice but very shut off from the rest of the hotel: there is not even a balcony to put a rack to dry your clothes. <BR><BR> As we needed 3 rooms we could not afford to stay in bungalows. We had rooms on the 3rd floor, no elevators. The website only shows the bungalows, does not mention the fact that there are no lifts. Impossible for disabled people! Difficult for small children and/or prams. <BR><BR> Yes, I would recommend it, the environment is so beautiful, but not to elderly people or young couples with toddlers, unless they can afford the bungalows.
