Hotel #fail: I stayed at Novotel Munich Airport: - Exorbitant cost (US$1000 for three nights) - a hotel at the Best Western standard or less - I get a luxury suite in Las Vegas for less. - Exorbitant extra cost of internet access and breakfast ($30/day). - Small room where you can't open a suitcase without blocking the way. - Staff either knocking at the door or entering the room without knocking in the morning (total 5 times in 3 days) - on last day I put a handmade "DO NOT DISTURB" sign at the door. - It's called "Novotel Munich Airport", but is far away from the terminals and there is no shuttle bus (just public bus, or S-Bahn train with long walk). Why do people stay there? I will never stay again at any Novotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was for a 3* hotel. Significantly better than the other 3* hotels I stayed in on this trip.
