Front desk reception staff are an absolute delight - very welcoming and friendly. The hotel feels a little dated - time for refurbishment.

Location was excellent for a wedding across the road. The staff were efficient and pleasant. The room we chose was very small and the mirror was outside the bathroom on an inconvenient angle, so shaving and putting on makeup was difficult. The stairs at the front of the building were steep and the entrance lacked character. Overall our stay was disappointing and costly by comparison with other city hotels.

Room was not ready at check in even though we were late Extra charge for parking was dearer than quoted. very small room
