Novotel Hotel Rockford Darling Harbour Sydney Guest Reviews (150)
Staff here were very helpful which is always a good start. Room facilities included a bath and good pillows - always high on my list. The hotel is a stone's throw from Chinatown and all its restaurants, so there's no shortage of choices for food. I was surprised to learn that breakfast was included in my room price and the buffet was extensive and good fresh food. I loved the yoga channel on tv and provision of mats for this. the only negative was that with a king size bed in the room, I did not have enough space to do some of the ypga moves properly. Would have no hesitation in staying here again, or recommending to a friend.

The Rockford Darling Harbour appears to have been rated on the basis of brand name and little else. A dated interior, and the rooms a complete let down - I have found backwater motels better kept. It is not just that the walls are dirty in places and need a clean/new paint, the fittings and curtains are old, while the blinds tattered and disgusting. The bathrooms were the worst feature...mould and grout were all over the place, cramped was cramped with a bath-shower that looked disgusting, and had an ageing shower curtain that leaked water everywhere and soaked the floor! The bath was peeling in places as well. Add to this, that housekeeping had not made our bed (despite a 11pm checkin) - and we had to ring reception at midnight to get pillowcases!! The pillows were so disgusting and old that we sent back down to reception. The bed was actually very comfortable, however for this price range, there's absolutely no point in booking a room for this kind of service!

Sorry to say was not a good start from them mucking up our booking . To. Then putting us in a less superior room , to then being moved a third time , staff not overly helpful or friendly , bathrooms need updating , and rooms needed repairing or washing to freshen up very tired looking

Enjoyable stay, room was clean, comfortable, spacious and the hotel is in a very handy location. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to my next stay there. Would have loved to stay there for a week instead of a night.

The hotel has a great location. Down side have to park away from hotel in a public car park. Our room was small, and overlooked the freeway. We heard cars all night. Not the cleanest of rooms, didnt look vacuumed, dirty spoons and cracked coffee mug. I just feel Novotel arent living up to their name. Great breakfast, probably the highlight.
