Novotel Congress Hotel Budapest Guest Reviews
There is not a lot to see in that region but public transport is very nearby to go the city center. I enjoyed my stay. The sauna was only open from noon until eight am and that is not very long. Overall it was OK.

The hospitality in this hotel is excellent. All up to date facilities are available. Although it is a good walk to town, however if you are fit it is very manageable. For anyone not wanting to walk there is always a reliable taxi sitting outside the door. This is my second visit to this hotel which is in a very good residential area and right next to the new MOM Park Shopping Centre on the Buda side of town. They do charge a deposit for the mini bar per day which is unusual but you get it back on departure - it just means you have to have the money ready in advance.

The hotel is a bit far from the central area. But the transport is good enough to reach to the centre from the hotel. There is a tram very close to the hotel where it can take you to Moszkva Terminal and there you can take tram to several locations. If you would like to start your visit from Castle Hill and like to walk, the distance from the hotel is managable by foot. I believe this hotel is one of the best ones in the area.

I loved the chestnut garden behind the hotel, peace and tranquility from the busy highway at the front of the hotel, but the windows were soundproof. Be prepared for the long walk and mad traffic into the centre but this is all part of exploring Budapest, otherwise there was always a taxi waiting at the front door to take you into town. This hotel is located close to an up-market shopping mall MOM Park so you only have to walk 2 mins to do all your shopping.
