Tonsberg Climate
The Coastal town of Tonsberg rarely gets excessively warm due to its location in northern Europe. In winter, an average temperature of around 5°C can be expected, and in summer the temperature only raises a few degrees to around 14°C.
Getting There & Around
Tonsberg is situated 10 km away from Sandefjord and is also close to Moss Airport Rygge. If you prefer to arrive by sea, a catamaran service operates between the city and Fredrikstad, and the Oslo-Skien railway mainline passes through area with numerous daily trains.
This destination has a pretty good network of buses available, with taxis on offer as well. If you want to experience the real spirit of the city, then walking around the city centre amongst the shops, bars, restaurants and historic sites is highly recommended.
