Getting There

Holmenkollen is easily reached from all of Oslo. The nearest airport is the Oslo Airport, approximately 35 kilometres from Holmenkollen. Rental cars are widely available at the airport and travellers choosing to drive can take Smestadkrysset, the road leading directly into the neighbourhood. Taxis and buses are also abundant throughout the city and provide direct access to the Ski Museum and nearby. The most direct public transportation option is to take the Metro 1 line toward Frognerseteren and exit at the Holmenkollen stop, in the centre of the neighbourhood.
