Gol Climate
Gol offers plenty of snow and cold temperatures in the winter, when most people like to visit. There is as much as 14-20 cm of snow monthly from January through March. Summers are warm with highs around 20-21 C, and there is about 8-9 cm of rain per month from July through August.
Getting There & Around
At about an hour's drive from Gol, the Oslo Airport is conveniently nearby. The railways from Oslo serve Buskerud County, and there are many coach buses that travel through the region as well. You will use the E134 highway if you plan to drive.
Gol is a tiny municipality that is walkable, but buses run between municipalities as well if you wish to explore.
