Though north of the Arctic Circle, Bodo’s peninsula position features a remarkably mild climate, with minimal snowfall and winter temperatures that a city like Montreal, New York City or even Helsinki would love to have. Bodo has a subpolar oceanic climate, with narrow temperature fluctuations throughout the year. On average, the weather in Bodo wavers between a low of -2°C in January and a high of 16°C in July. Conditions are very windy in and around town and winter snow cover is sparse.
