Spent 2 days at this hotel, staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms are a good size and have everything you need. Well placed for travel into the city or Circular Quay etc. Good restaurants /eateries close by. Nice place to stay:)

Great views from this hotel, looking back to the Harbour Bridge(hence the name). Rooms are modern and tastefully furnished with all amenities needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Relaxing bar and dining area through from the lobby. We were on the second floor but would recommend a room higher up for a better view(some obstruction from trees on lower levels)and also less noise from the train that runs under the hotel to the station next door. Lunar Park and the ferries are only a short walk away. Therre is a Sunday market on the way there as well.

Location is great, with easy access to Sydney CBD by rail, ferry, or taxi. North Sydney CBD is a 2 minute walk and is much better than Sydney for a leisurely lunch or cup of coffee. We arrived early at the hotel and left our bags while we filled in a bit of time. Came back after 2pm, went to take our bags up and were told not to worry, as they would be brought up right away. Half an hour later, no bags, rang reception and was told they were on their way, no apology. Half an hour later still, no bags, about to ring reception again, knock at the door ,and our bags had finally arrived one hour after we checked in to our room! Good thing we didn't need anything desperately from our bags during that first hour!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room looked directly over the rail line, which was a little diappointing, but you could see the harbour and Luna park to the right. Train noise was not disturbing though, we hardly noticed it at all. Overall was a very nice hotel and we would definately stay there again!

N.S.H.V has become our preferred accommodation when visiting Sydney. From Canberra onto the M5, across the Harbour Bridge and directly to the front door of N.S.H.V.. All City attractions are can be easily reached using rail services, North Sydney Station is an easy 5 minute stroll from the motel, you can enjoy your night out without fighting traffic, trying to finding taxis or parking spots.

The room had excellent views of Sydney Harbour, the Staff were friendly and attended to our needs in a professional manner. The only complaint I have was that the mattress was too soft. However that was rectified by staff.

Didn't realise when booking that this hotel is directly over a main passenger railway line. My room was on the second floor and every time a train arrived at the station, which was only about 50 metres away, you could feel and hear a pronounced rumbling. Didn't get a lot of sleep. A colleague staying on the 9th floor said he didn't really hear the trains. If staying here ask for a high floor, at least 9 or above!!

We highly recommend this hotel. It has been renovated since the last time we stayed and is very modern, clean and well appointed. The beds are sooo comfortable and cozy. Fantastic location and incredible view. Hop, step and a jump to the train station and other transport. The staff are always so obliging and the conference facilities are great. Definitely a must stay hotel. Max & Ros

Hotel is in a convenient location except that being directly over the railway line does cause issues with noise particularly for those on lower floors. Beds only had doonas no blanket options, therefore it was very hot when trying to sleep. Hotel should provide at least one blanket so that the doona can be thrown off. Air conditioning was unable to be turned down far enough to compensate for the heat. Entry to the hotel is fine if you are in a car. If you have difficulty walking up steep stairs or driveways, this place is not for you. Dragging a bag up/down the vehicle ramp is fraught with danger; hotel needs to consider some better options that may be implemented. Staff hard working and attentive.

I stayed here for a night rather than extend a night at the Vibe at Milson's Point based upon price and I am glad I did. The rooms are fantastic, staff friendly, hot water reliable, etc. Only issue was the lifts, one of which was under refurbishment making the movement of luggage and prams very difficult during peak periods - this should be remedied soon for future guests. I know some people complain about the trains underneath making noise - I knew they were there but did not notice them.

This hotel has the most wonderful location in Sydney - every room has a magnificent view of the harbour. The rooms are standard size, the bathrooms have been refurbished and although very small, are very functional. Service is efficient, bar and restaurant adequate.

I have stayed here a number of times and am still surprised by the fabulous view over the harbour...night time is magical, and worth the extra cost of the rooms which overlook it! This is always my first choice of places to stay in Sydney, both when going there to work or for recreation. The service is excellent, rooms always very clean, beds luxuriously comfortable, a broad choice of food for breakfast in a lovely restaurant, and a very convenient location.

Had a lovely night at this hotel. Our 5th floor room had a beautiful almost 180 degree view of Sydney Harbour. Ordered room service which was a little pricey, but tasted lovely! There was the faint sound of trains (like a dull low rumble) because the North Sydney train station runs under the hotel. However, it was very faint and did not effect my very sound night's sleep in my very comfy bed.
