Ideally situated on the Waterfront of the Cairns Esplanade, this property is placed away from the main central area of city noise but within walking distance to Cairns city centre, restaurants, shops and the Casino.

North Cove Waterfront Suites Cairns Guest Reviews
The North Cove Waterfront Suites themselves were very pleasant (ours was a 3-bedroom suite), but given the four-star rating there are a number of aspects that were disappointing. 1. The rooms were not serviced during the three-day stay (we were not told that beforehand), and if all the bins are not emptied and the dishes washed on departure the management imposes a $50 surcharge. 2. In a number of the bedrooms (and one of the bathrooms) the doors did not latch shut. 3. The gate to the underground parking did not open without the driver getting out of the car and pressing the button on the keyring while almost next to the (supposed) sensor device. 4. The cold water facility on the fridge did not work.

The apartment was big and clean. The staff is wonderful, and always willing to help. The only little disadvantage is that it's located like 30 minutes walking from the centre (the lagoon). So if you're willing to walk a bit, it's the perfect place to stay in Cairns.
