This hotel is very old fashioned, looks like in the early 80s!

Like most of the feedback that I read before booking this hotel it is in need of some updating! That said the room was spotless on arrival and kept that way everyday by room service. We used the hotel as a base to go else where daily and found it was all we needed, good breakfast!! Recommended on this basis!!

We stayed at Nord Hotel Florence on our first and last nights in Italy, which were separated by three weeks of travel. On both occasions, the Nord Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, even though we struggled with an English-Italian communication gap. We were allowed to park our rental car for free in their parking lot. The complimentary breakfast was excellent as was the price we received through [website]. The hotel has two small elevators. On the negative side, our first room was poorly maintained, with chipped and faded paint and dust bunnies around the beds, although the bathroom and all linens were very clean. The room we had on our return was better-kept, but the beds were soft and there was no AC even though the room was muggy. In fairness, these problems (beds and temp control) were consistent with the other older accommodations we used in Italy. We picked Nord Hotel because of its close proximity to the Florence airport. I would stay there again.
